Still the best In Notts, now with added Langzhao noodles. Fantastic broth and just the right amount of delicate fat. Highly recommended.
Absolutely delicious food and such quick service! I have never had any issues getting ahold of staff- they're incredibly attentive and you never have to awkwardly wait to catch them. The music is nice and not too loud. The menu is diverse too. I'll be returning again)
The food was absolutely fantastic, I have no words, it was delivered hot, packed with flavour (salt and pepper squid and ribs) I recommend 100%! I will definitely order from here again as a treat as it is a bit pricey, especially for students. I wished there was a student discount. Vegetarian friends did say the vegetarian noodle was bland, but the chilli oil definitely helped! And little sister enjoyed the chicken noodles, again a bit bland but good for younger kids.

Amazing. We initially we had tried to go elsewhere Cantonese, but we were turned away because it closed at 8pm. So we walked up to Shanghai Shanghai. It’s a very plain looking restaurant with a cafe type look. But was full of Chinese people. I think that tells how good it was going to be. We’re so glad we tried it. The food was amazing, service was good, price was what you expect in town. Try the salt and pepper chips. Wow!!! Loved it 10/10

I’m a regular customer at Shanghai Shanghai Restaurant, and while I haven’t tried many dishes yet, everything I’ve had so far has been amazing! I tried the honey roast pork, egg fried rice, meat hot pot, and stir-fried beef with celery and pickled pepper, and each dish was packed with flavor.Highly recommend this place for delicious Chinese food—definitely one of my favorites.
Best in Nottingham. Would definitely recommend the spicy chicken - one of the best chicken dishes I have ever had. The people are lovely and the prices are very reasonable !!
